Jonathan graduated from the European School of Osteopathy with a background in sports such as football, badminton, weightlifting and taekwondo. It is this background which fuelled his interest in health and fitness and ultimately a career in Osteopathy. Jonathan believes that Osteopathy is not only manual therapy, but an integrated therapy. Lifestyle changes such as nutrition, exercise and stress management are key to recovery.
Jonathan is a firm believer in a shared decision-making approach to treatment, putting the patient first and discussing the options of treatment available to you. He is also qualified in dry needling and sports massage. At university Jonathan completed a one-year post in a paediatric and maternity clinic, treating patients of all ages from babies to expectant mothers. Jonathan has a special interest in pain management. It is an individual experience and your beliefs/anxiety about your injury can amplify the pain.
Jonathan likes to keep up-to-date with research and guidelines for Osteopathy and manual therapy and is fully registered with the General Osteopathic Council. At David Such Osteopathy there are weekly tutorials as well as all Osteopaths attending external courses.
